with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts
failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which
are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.


Meditation:
How could my heart be strong enough for the end of times?

Affirmation:
God's heart is my stronghold.

Prayer:
Lord God, I trust in you. Please draw me close when fears threaten
my heart.

Meditation:
What heavenly treasures will I enjoy today?

Affirmation:
My heart is within God's majesty.

Prayer:
God, you are the source of all treasure; and I love you above all else.

ye shall drink, neither be ye of a doubtful mind.


Meditation:
What am I looking for with my mind?

Affirmation:
My mind is full with the promises of Christ.

Prayer:
Thank-you Father, that when I seek you, you are near.

Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of
them should be greatest. And Jesus, perceiving the thought
of their heart, took a child, and set him by him, and said
unto them, whosoever shall receive this child in my name
receiveth me.


Meditation:
In what way is a child like the Jesus I know?

Affirmation:
Today I seek what is simple and true in Jesus.

Prayer:
Please help me to loosen my grasp on this world, God, and to delight with
you as your child.

...on the good ground are they,
which in an honest and good heart,
having heard the word, keep it, and
bring forth fruit with patience.


Meditation:
Am I caring for the ground of my being today, which is the condition of
my heart?

Affirmation:
I work with firmness today on the condition of my heart.

Prayer:
Lord God, I confess any ways that my heart is angry and selfish today; and
I ask for your forgiveness and for healing.

Luke 6:45



A good man out of the good treasure of his heart
bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out
of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which
is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth
speaketh.

Meditation:
What is the nature of my abundance?

Affirmation:
Today I am careful to speak of what is good.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, may I be forgiven for the times when my thoughts are
all negative and when my speech is that way too.
