What will I do today to clean up my thoughts?

Affirmation:
I keep my head clear by focusing on Christ Jesus.

Prayer:
Dear God, I pray that you will keep me from wrong thinking today
so that my sight will be clear to see your glory all around.

Meditation:
Am I giving with expectation of return? Let me be clear
about the Source of my gift and the gratitude which moves me to give.

Affirmation:
Today my goal is a heart full of faith and a clear conscience.

Prayer:
Lord God, I confess the times lately when my caring for others has been
motivated by a wish for attention or approval rather than by my faith in you.
Help me to return to you with clarity of purpose.

How might my emotions be affected if I were actively
patiently waiting for Christ?

Affirmation:
I experience the love of God today while I wait for Christ to appear.

Prayer:
How wonderful you are, my God, that you always direct my heart
to love.

Where in my days am I the most at risk for losing my peace?

Affirmation:
The God of peace takes action to make me holy and keep me that way.

Prayer:
Lord God, forgive me for my arrogance when I have believed that through my own
efforts I could be saved.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all
wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in
psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Which psalms dwell fully in my heart through memorization?

Affirmation:
The word of Christ is grace in my heart.

Prayer:
May I be reminded to sing more often to you, my Friend
and my Redeemer.

Am I easily diverted from the Gospel by all kinds of popular
spiritual claims?

Affirmation:
My mind is rewarded by focusing on Christ Jesus.

Prayer:
I confess, God, that I have at times wandered with my mind into spiritual teachings
which are less than the Gospel. Help me, Lord, to come back to the Truth every day,
as revealed in your Word.

Lord, I praise you for being the Creator of caring relationships.

The peace of God is mine through Christ Jesus.

Prayer:
With awe and thanksgiving, Lord God, I bring to you
the concerns of my heart and mind, hoping for the peace
that passes understanding.

What feelings do I have about being a servant?

Affirmation:
In all circumstances my service is to the Lord.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, please grace me with a right attitude towards the
service you have given me to perform.

There is music in my heart for God today.

Prayer:
I adore you, Creator God, for the beauty of spiritual music.

blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,
who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Am I trusting the God of this world today, or the truth of the Gospel?

Affirmation:
The Gospel is full of light for my mind.

Prayer:
Lord God, please inspire me often to seek you in your word,
for the enlightening of my mind, and have mercy on my mind
when it is full of the god of this world.

Do I consider myself to be a righteous judge? In what situations lately
am I tempted to judge others? Do I judge myself?

Affirmation:
I wait on the the Lord for truth and justice.

Prayer:
Come, Lord Jesus: bring Light to our darkness.

I look for the Holy Spirit to unify and harmonize groups of people.

Lord God, help me to see the unity that you have designed.

prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered
these things, and enter into his glory?


Meditation:
Is my heart slow to believe good news?

Affirmation:
I embrace God's plan of salvation.

Prayer:
God, I give you my heart for healing in hopes the I will follow Jesus
to glory.
