Proverbs 21:28

The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination:

how much more, when he bringeth it with

a wicked mind?

When my thoughts are full of harm, is this the time to do service?

Affirmation:

Prayer life produces true gifts.

Prayer:

Thank you God, for bringing me to to your presence where all

gifts originate.

Proverbs 4:4

He (Father God) taught me also, and said

unto me, let thine heart retain my words:

keep my commandments and live.

Meditation:

What Godly words will I repeat by heart today?

Affirmation:

My heart retains God's Word.

Prayer:

I am in awe of your Word, Lord God; and I know its life-giving power

in my heart.

Genesis 6:5

And God saw that the wickedness of man

was great in the earth, and that every

imagination of the thoughts of his heart

was only evil continually.

Meditation:

How will I use my imagination today?

Affirmation:

I choose to imagine a good and lovely future.

Prayer:

Thank you, Jesus my Lord, for bringing the message of salvation and hope

to my heart.

Psalms 77:6

I call to remembrance my song in the night:

I commune with my own heart;

and my spirit made diligent search.

Meditation:

What songs of faith light my way in the dark?

Affirmation:

With God I remember; I commune; and I search.

Prayer:

I repent of forgetting the Beauty and the Truth. I repent of isolating my self from Life;

I repent of giving up the search for you, my Lord. Have mercy and bring me close to you.

Psalms 66:16

Come and hear, all ye that fear God,

and I will declare what he hath done

for my soul.

Meditation:

What do I have to share today as evidence of God's having helped my soul?

Affirmation:

Everything that I have to share today was first given to me by God.

Prayer:

Father God, please embolden me to share the good news of your Love.

Psalms 62:10

...if riches increase, set not your heart

upon them.

Meditation:

Is my heart invested in possessions, and if so, which ones?

Affirmation:

I set my heart on the gifts of Love.

Prayer:

Our one provider, God, I pray that you would help me to keep my heart for the

riches of heaven.

Psalms 51:10

Create in me a clean heart, O God,

and renew a right spirit within me.

Meditation:

Do I believe that God can act directly on my heart today?

Affirmation:

Right now God is restoring a right spirit within me.

Prayer:

Thank you, dear God, for using your power to cleanse me at

the deepest level.
