Can I imagine my soul as having value? What value?

Affirmation:
Living a soulful life today is my gift to God.

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.


Meditation:
Which of my possessions do I value the most and why?

Affirmation:
My heart is full of treasure.

Prayer:
Lord God, I confess that I have valued material things above spiritual gifts;
and so, I seek healing and mercy from the treasure house of your grace.

And they come to Jesus, and see him that
was possessed with the devil, and had the legion,
sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind:
and they were afraid.


Meditation:
Am I willing to believe that faith in the Lord Jesus can
restore people to sanity?

Affirmation:
My mind is healed in Christ Jesus.

Prayer:
What a wonderful miracle you worked with the man who was
possessed, through your son Jesus, dear God our Healer and our Creator.

Jesus said unto him (a lawyer) thou shalt
love the Lord thy God with all thy heart
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.


Meditation:
Do I know that all my loving is for God?

Affirmation:
Today with my mind and soul I love God.

Prayer:
May I be present enough in all my moments to be clear about
loving you, dear Lord.

Meditation:
Am I tempted by a lesser good than the Holy Trinity?

Affirmation:
Dark imaginings are overcome by God.

Prayer:
Thank you God, for knowing the thoughts of your people and leading your
people to the bright future you have imagined.

Ye that have escaped the sword, go away,
stand not still: remember the LORD afar off,
and let Jerusalem come into your mind.


Meditation:
From what have I escaped; what action am I taking in response; what do I know of the city set on a hill?

Affirmation:
I envision the Holy City.

Prayer:
Good God, in order to seek you, I move in my mind towards sacred images
of hope and beauty.

Jeremiah 44:21



The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah,
and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings,
and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the Lord
remember them, and came it not into his mind?


Meditation:
Let me remember and consider that there are a vast number of
people of all nations and of all occupations, praying at all times.

Affirmation:
The mind of God retains the prayers of His people.

Prayer:
Lord, what a peace you give to me when I remember that you have
the past, present, and future, and all the prayers of your people in your Mind.
